Steps
- Whenever damage would be dealt to you or a permanent you control, activate Barrenton Medic's first ability by tapping it, preventing the next 1 damage dealt to that target.
- Activate Barrenton Medic's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
- Repeat as necessary.

The "Swift Reconfiguration + Barrenton Medic" combo takes 3 steps in order. Make sure you have the mana open and permanents listed in the prerequisites before you start — opponents can respond between steps.
