- Color identity
- R
Prerequisites
You control a creature that can attack this turn and that cannot be blocked or killed by an opponent.
Steps
- Declare a creature as an attacker, triggering Avatar Roku, adding six {R}.
- Move to your postcombat main phase. You will not lose the mana due to Electro.
- Activate Aggravated Assault by paying {3}{R}{R}, causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat and main phase after this one.
- Repeat.
How to execute this combo
The "Avatar Roku, Firebender + Aggravated Assault + Electro, Assaulting Battery" combo takes 4 steps in order. Make sure you have the mana open and permanents listed in the prerequisites before you start — opponents can respond between steps.
The end result: Infinite combat phases, Infinite red mana, Infinite untap of creatures you control, Infinite mana creatures you control can produce, Infinitely powerful red creatures you control until end of turn, Infinite damage to one opponent.
Practice the line offline: lay out the cards, walk through each step, and note where you can lose the combo (summoning sickness, lack of priority, removal on a key permanent). In game, announce each step clearly; in casual play you can offer to shortcut after demonstrating the loop.
The best window is a turn when opponents are tapped out or after they commit a spell — hold protection (a counter, Vexing Shusher) if the combo wins on the spot.
