Steps
- Cast Body of Research by paying {G}{G}{G}{U}{U}{U}, creating a 0/0 Fractal creature token, then putting a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to your deck size.
- Optionally, give the Fractal token haste, or proceed to your next turn.
- Declare the Fractal and The Mindskinner, if desired/able, as attackers.
- When the Fractal, and The Mindskinner if it attacked, would deal combat damage to the opponent, The Mindskinner prevents that damage, and causes each opponent to mill that many cards.
How to execute this combo
The "The Mindskinner + Body of Research" combo takes 4 steps in order. Make sure you have the mana open and permanents listed in the prerequisites before you start — opponents can respond between steps.
The end result: Near-infinite mill.
Practice the line offline: lay out the cards, walk through each step, and note where you can lose the combo (summoning sickness, lack of priority, removal on a key permanent). In game, announce each step clearly; in casual play you can offer to shortcut after demonstrating the loop.
The best window is a turn when opponents are tapped out or after they commit a spell — hold protection (a counter, Vexing Shusher) if the combo wins on the spot.
