Prerequisites

Devoted Druid does not have summoning sickness. You have a way to boost Devoted Druid's toughness by at least 2 without using +1/+1 counters.

Steps

  1. Boost Devoted Druid's toughness by at least 2 without using +1/+1 counters.
  2. Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding {G}.
  3. Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
  4. Repeat from step 2 two additional times.
  5. Activate Tayam by paying {3} and removing three -1/-1 counters from Devoted Druid, causing you to mill three cards and return a permanent with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  6. Repeat.

How to execute this combo

The "Tayam, Luminous Enigma + Devoted Druid" combo takes 6 steps in order. Make sure you have the mana open and permanents listed in the prerequisites before you start — opponents can respond between steps.

The end result: Infinite self-mill, Put a selection of permanant cards from your library and graveyard onto the battlefield.

Practice the line offline: lay out the cards, walk through each step, and note where you can lose the combo (summoning sickness, lack of priority, removal on a key permanent). In game, announce each step clearly; in casual play you can offer to shortcut after demonstrating the loop.

The best window is a turn when opponents are tapped out or after they commit a spell — hold protection (a counter, Vexing Shusher) if the combo wins on the spot.
