An opponent has a higher life total than Tree of Perdition's toughness.
Steps
- Activate Tree of Perdition by tapping it, causing its toughness to become equal to an opponents life total, and causing that opponent to lose life equal to the difference between their life total and Tree of Perdition's toughness as the ability resolved.
- At the beginning of your end step, [[Doubler - LIfeloss]] triggers, causing the opponent to lose life equal to the life they lost this turn.

Practice the line offline: lay out the cards, walk through each step, and note where you can lose the combo (summoning sickness, lack of priority, removal on a key permanent). In game, announce each step clearly; in casual play you can offer to shortcut after demonstrating the loop.
