Prerequisites
Haldir has at least six +1/+1 counters on it. Devoted Druid does not have summoning sickness.
Steps
- Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding {G}.
- If Devoted Druid has toughness 2 or greater, activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 until Devoted Druid has toughness equal to 1.
- Activate Haldir by paying {5}{G}, giving Elves you control +1/+1 until end of turn for each +1/+1 counter on Haldir.
- If Devoted Druid is tapped, activate its second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
- Repeat.

The best window is a turn when opponents are tapped out or after they commit a spell — hold protection (a counter, Vexing Shusher) if the combo wins on the spot.
