- Color identity
- BRG
- Mana
- {1}
Prerequisites
Umbral Mantle attached to Yurlok of Scorch Thrash. Yurlok of Scorch Thrash does not have summoning sickness.
Steps
- Activate Yurlok of Scorch Thrash by paying {1} and tapping it, causing each player to add {B}{B}{R}{R}{G}{G}.
- Activate Yurlok of Scorch Thrash by paying {3} and untapping it, causing itself to get +2/+2 until end of turn.
- Repeat an arbitrarily large amount of times.
- It is strongly recommended to empty your mana pool using a mana sink before proceeding.
- Move to your next step or phase, causing each player to lose life equal to the amount of unspent mana in their mana pool.
- Each player whose mana pool contained an amount of mana equal to or greater than their life total loses the game due to having 0 or less life, which causes a draw if every player lost the game.
How to execute this combo
The "Yurlok of Scorch Thrash + Umbral Mantle + Mana Reflection" combo takes 6 steps in order. Make sure you have the mana open and permanents listed in the prerequisites before you start — opponents can respond between steps.
The end result: Draw the game, Infinite black mana for all players, Infinite green mana for all players, Infinite lifeloss, Infinitely large creature until end of turn, Infinite red mana for all players.
Practice the line offline: lay out the cards, walk through each step, and note where you can lose the combo (summoning sickness, lack of priority, removal on a key permanent). In game, announce each step clearly; in casual play you can offer to shortcut after demonstrating the loop.
The best window is a turn when opponents are tapped out or after they commit a spell — hold protection (a counter, Vexing Shusher) if the combo wins on the spot.
