Prerequisites

You have at least {E}{E}{E}. You control a nontoken creature with mana value 3 or less.

Steps

  1. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying {E}{E}{E}, sacrificing a creature with mana value 3 or less and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand.
  2. When the creature dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
  3. Resolve the Chthonian Nightmare ability, returning Priest of Gix from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  4. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding {B}{B}{B}.
  5. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding {1}.
  6. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying {1}{B}.
  7. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get {E}{E}{E}.
  8. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying at most {E}{E}{E}, sacrificing Priest of Gix and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand.
  9. When Priest of Gix dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
  10. Resolve the Chthonian Nightmare ability, returning another creature with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  11. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying {1}{B}.
  12. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get {E}{E}{E}.
  13. Repeat.
