Produces: Infinite storm count, Infinite combat phases, Infinite untap of creatures you control, Infinite mana creatures you control can produce, Infinite magecraft triggers, Infinite combat damage

Color identity
R

Prerequisites

Spellbinder attached to a creature that can attack this turn and that cannot be blocked by an opponent. Creatures you control can tap to produce at least {2}{R}.

Steps

  1. Deal combat damage with the creature that has Spellbinder attached, triggering Spellbinder.
  2. Holding priority, activate any number of creatures you control by tapping them, adding at least {2}{R}.
  3. Resolve the Spellbinder trigger, casting a copy of Great Train Heist without paying its mana cost, and choosing to pay an additional {2}{R} to select its first mode, causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
  4. Repeat each combat phase.

How to execute this combo

The "Spellbinder + Great Train Heist" combo takes 4 steps in order. Make sure you have the mana open and permanents listed in the prerequisites before you start — opponents can respond between steps.

The end result: Infinite storm count, Infinite combat phases, Infinite untap of creatures you control, Infinite mana creatures you control can produce, Infinite magecraft triggers, Infinite combat damage.

Practice the line offline: lay out the cards, walk through each step, and note where you can lose the combo (summoning sickness, lack of priority, removal on a key permanent). In game, announce each step clearly; in casual play you can offer to shortcut after demonstrating the loop.

The best window is a turn when opponents are tapped out or after they commit a spell — hold protection (a counter, Vexing Shusher) if the combo wins on the spot.
