Prerequisites

The Reaver Cleaver attached to a creature with power seven or greater that can attack this turn. An opponent is unable to block the creature with The Reaver Cleaver attached.

Steps

  1. Declare Hellkite Charger and the creature with The Reaver Cleaver attached as attackers.
  2. Hellkite Charger triggers, causing you to pay {5}{R}{R} to untap all attacking creatures and cause you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
  3. Deal combat damage to a player with the creature that has The Reaver Cleaver attached.
  4. The creature triggers, creating at least eight Treasure tokens.
  5. Move to your next combat phase.
  6. Declare Hellkite Charger and the creature with The Reaver Cleaver attached as attackers.
  7. Hellkite Charger triggers, holding priority, activate seven Treasure tokens by tapping and sacrificing them, adding {5}{R}{R}.
  8. Resolve the Hellkite Charger trigger, causing you to pay {5}{R}{R} to untap all attacking creatures and cause you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
  9. Repeat from step 3.

How to execute this combo

The "The Reaver Cleaver + Hellkite Charger" combo takes 9 steps in order. Make sure you have the mana open and permanents listed in the prerequisites before you start — opponents can respond between steps.

The end result: Infinite colored mana, Infinite combat damage, Infinite combat phases, Infinite Treasure tokens.

Practice the line offline: lay out the cards, walk through each step, and note where you can lose the combo (summoning sickness, lack of priority, removal on a key permanent). In game, announce each step clearly; in casual play you can offer to shortcut after demonstrating the loop.

The best window is a turn when opponents are tapped out or after they commit a spell — hold protection (a counter, Vexing Shusher) if the combo wins on the spot.
