Watchful Radstag + Master Biomancer + Tyranid Prime
Produces: Infinite creature ETB, Infinite +1/+1 counters on an infinite number of creature tokens, Infinite +1/+1 counters on creatures you control
- Watchful Radstag
- Master Biomancer
- Tyranid Prime
- Color identity
- GU
- Mana
- {1}{G}{U}
Prerequisites
Watchful Radstag's power or toughness is less than or equal to Master Biomancer's power or toughness respectively. Watchful Radstag has toughness 3 or less.
Steps
- Cast Tyranid Prime by paying {1}{G}{U}.
- When it enters, Watchful Radstag's evolve ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it. Its second ability triggers, creating a token copy of it that enters with a number of +1/+1 counters equal to Master Biomancer's power.
- When the token enters, each creature you control's evolve ability will trigger if the token has lesser toughness or power.
- Resolve all evolve triggers except those from Watchful Radstags, putting a +1/+1 counter on each of them.
- Resolve a Watchful Radstag trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it. Its second ability triggers, creating a token copy of it that enters with a number of +1/+1 counters equal to Master Biomancer's power.
- Repeat from step 3.
How to execute this combo
The "Watchful Radstag + Master Biomancer + Tyranid Prime" combo takes 6 steps in order. Make sure you have the mana open and permanents listed in the prerequisites before you start — opponents can respond between steps.
The end result: Infinite creature ETB, Infinite +1/+1 counters on an infinite number of creature tokens, Infinite +1/+1 counters on creatures you control.
Practice the line offline: lay out the cards, walk through each step, and note where you can lose the combo (summoning sickness, lack of priority, removal on a key permanent). In game, announce each step clearly; in casual play you can offer to shortcut after demonstrating the loop.
The best window is a turn when opponents are tapped out or after they commit a spell — hold protection (a counter, Vexing Shusher) if the combo wins on the spot.
